Glenn Acree

Since starting Acree Consulting in March of 2022, I have continued to strengthen my reach to Connect, Engage, and Collaborate with the communities that I have come to know, appreciate, and care for over the past 20 years. My primary aim is to be a catalyst for growth in the professional and academic communities that I know best … Software Developers, Data Professionals (Analysts, Engineers, and Scientists), and the businesses who value them.

Sam Acree

I'm a versatile professional with a passion for technology. In college I explored various academic interests before finding my niche in Sociology with a side of web development. After graduating, I dove headfirst into the tech world as a PHP developer, where I honed my skills and discovered a knack for frontend development. A deep dive into JavaScript and ReactJS soon followed, leading me to a fulfilling role as a frontend developer at a web based SaaS startup. Over the next four years, I embraced the challenges of full-stack development, dipping into C#, .NET, SQL, and AngularJS along the way.

However, the relentless pace of the startup world eventually took its toll, prompting me to seek solace in the calm, relaxing environment of commercial kitchens. Drawing on my experience from years spent in pizza shops during high school and college, I transitioned into the world of professional cooking. While expecting to be a pizza cook, I was quickly thrown into role of sauté. After some struggles I found a passion for making great dishes after making a move to a casual fine dining restaurant. I found fulfillment in the creative expression and camaraderie of the kitchen.

After several years of culinary adventures, I found myself drawn back to the world of technology, this time with a newfound appreciation for work-life balance and community building. Joining Acree Consulting alongside my father, I'm excited to leverage my diverse background to help grow our business and foster meaningful connections within our community. I truly love aiding people in finding their next big opportunity, whether it's helping a new professional transition into the tech industry or assisting a business in forming valuable partnerships to further their goals.
